Meet The Team

Kim

Kim has over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She loves helping people understand their dental benefits and how to use them so we can provide them with the best treatment possible - "We are all about happy, healthy smiles!" Kim's family consists of six cats, four dogs, three teenagers, and a tortoise. Being with all of them is her favorite thing to do.

Samantha

Sam has been in the dental field since 2008. She started out as a dental assistant and now you will see her at the front desk greeting patients! About her role, Sam says, "I love meeting our patients and getting to know them and help them understanding their dental needs." When she is not at work, she is home with her two teenagers. They enjoy spending time outside in their garden planting flowers or just being outside. 

Jennifer

Jennifer has been working in the dental field for about three years and truly enjoys the opportunity to meet new people each day, helping them feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. "I like the fast-paced environment of the office and appreciate that no two days are ever the same." Outside of work, Jennifer loves spending time with her three kids and enjoys staying active through golf, hiking, snowboarding, and gardening.

Tara, RDH

Tara began her hygiene career in 1994, and has been with IFD since 2005. She enjoys the relationships, both personally and professionally, that she has been able to develop with her co-workers and patients over the years. She states, “I am so lucky to have wonderful people I get to work with and to like what I do. “ Tara loves road trips, exploring new places, true crime, and cooking - (“even the prep work!”)

Beth, RDH

Beth graduated from Lansing Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1994, and continued her education to receive a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. (Go Blue!) A highlight of her job is, "The privilege of working with different generations in the same family. Parents who have brought their children in to see me and when those same children grow up and begin their family, they continue their care with me. What a gift!"

Beth's family consists of her husband John and three wonderful sons: Will, John, and James. Joining an all-female team at IFD has been a welcome addition to her life!

Jen W, DA

Jen began working as a dental assistant April 1999 and joined IFD in 2022. One of her favorite parts of her job is, "When we transform a smile and it completely changes the patient's confidence."

Jen has four children and two French bulldogs. She enjoys laughing, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Carlie, RDH

Carlie has been a part of our hygiene team since 2023. Her favorite part of her job is that, "I am constantly meeting new people and building new relationships. I love that I am able to help teach others about the importance of good oral hygiene." In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some hobbies of hers include painting, playing golf, and going for hikes.

Jen B, DA

Jenny began her dental career in 2001 after completing a dental assisting program in Holland, MI. After many years of experience, she joined Ionia Family Dentistry in 2021.

Her favorite aspect of working in dentistry is building relationships with patients, "and helping create healthy smiles is just icing on the cake!"

Outside of the office, she enjoys watching a good TV series, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors - especially in our Michigan summers!
