Digital X-Rays
It’s a digital world and Ionia Family Dentistry takes digital x-rays. It allows us to see things and take measurements we were unable to do before. Digital pictures use about a third of the x-rays that film uses, which means less exposure to you. Digital pictures also allow us to put the image on a 20 inch screen in front of you. This allows us to better explain your needs and answer questions you have. The images can be enhance for better viewing, enlarged for more clarification, e-mailed to others as needed, and stored on the hard drive that is protected by backups.
